Wasana Resort

Wasana Resort is located 45 kilometres south of Ranong directly at the entrance to Laem Son National Park, an area of remote sandy beaches stretching to the south for almost 70 kilometres.

Laem Son National Park includes some 20 islands and several beaches along the coastline belong to this 315 square kilometres area that reaches as far as Phang Nga Province.

From Wassana Resort, a short stroll passing under the shade of the ubiquitous casuarina trees, brings you to the sandy beaches of Bang Baen that are perfect for swimming. This is pure nature and as it is a national park, it will remain like this.

Bang Baen Beach is well-known for its length, fine sand and prolific seashells. It has a park station, a visitor centre, a restaurant and a few bungalows catering for Thai tourists. Other beaches of the national park area are called Prapas and Laem Son.

Wasana Resort has only 8 bungalows laid out in a nice garden area. All Bungalows come with fan or air condition, the A/C bungalows also feature satellite TV.

Wassana Resort has also family bungalows available that come with 2 double beds, A/C and satellite TV. The restaurant is the center of the small family-run resort and offers Thai food and some western specialities.
